It fits securely between the seat and console, even though I can barely get my hand in there. It could be deeper, but holds drinks adequately. I recommend pulling it out before adjusting the seat, so as not to damage the upholstery, but removing and replacing it only takes a second. The center cup is good for phones, candy bars, etc.
