The Permatex High Temperature Thread Sealant helps lock and seal threaded fittings, lubricates threads for easy assembly and disassembly, has a wide temperature range of -65oF to 400oF (-54oC to 204oC), and is OEM specified . Compared to Teflon® tape, it's a step above, it won't shred or wear. It's a must-have for all professional garages.

It resists:

l Leakage

l Vibration loosening

l Moisture

l Hydraulic fluids

l Diesel fuels

 

Suggested applications:

l Head bolts into through holes

l Oil PSI sending units and sensors

l Oil and coolant lines

l Fuel fittings

l Rear axle fill plug

l Brake and power steering fittings

l After applying the sealant, wait 4 hours before repositioning the parts.
