This is the Athena 70cc Big Bore Cylinder Kit, designed to increase the displacement of your Honda 50 engine to 70cc. It features a 47.6mm bore size, which is larger than the stock cylinder, allowing for more air and fuel mixture to enter the combustion chamber. This increased volume is what helps boost the engine's overall power and performance.
Athena engineers these kits in Italy, focusing on improving both production and performance. The cylinder itself is coated with motor-nicksil, a special nickel-silicon blend developed by Athena. This coating is applied to achieve a smooth surface finish and provide excellent resistance to wear, which is important for the longevity of a high-performance component like this.
Keep in mind that this kit is not CARB approved and cannot be shipped to California. It's designed to work with Athena cylinder kits.
