This is an Athena cast piston designed for the 2021-2023 Gas Gas MC 50 2-stroke model. It features a 39.47mm bore, matching the original equipment specifications for a direct fit. Athena has been making motorcycle spare parts for over 40 years, and this piston is built to provide the same reliability as the stock part while offering increased durability and better performance.

The piston is made from special high-performance alloys of nickel, silica, and aluminum. These materials are processed using advanced CNC machining tools to ensure very tight dimensional tolerances, less than 0.01 mm. This precision helps create a smooth profile that promotes regular fuel flow and proper flame propagation within the cylinder, contributing to efficient combustion.
